The Baby Bear

The baby bear followed his mama. Mama bear walked through the woods. She was looking for berries to eat. She found some black berries. She started eating them. The baby started eating them, too. They ate all the berries. Baby bear was full. Mama bear was still hungry. She started walking again. She wanted to find more berries to eat. Baby bear lay down. He was full. He wanted to take a nap. But mama bear came back. She growled at baby bear. He understood mama’s growl. When mama growled, he obeyed. He got up and followed his mama. Someday he would take a nap after a meal. A squirrel ran up a tree with a nut. It dropped the nut and ran back down to the ground. It picked up the nut and looked at baby bear. Then it ran back up the tree. Baby bear did not like nuts. They were too hard to open.

 SIMPLE PRESENT TENSE

(tiempo presente)

I wake up at 7:00 am.
(Yo me despierto a las 7:00 am)

You play soccer with Manuel
(Tu juegas futbol con Manuel)

We study for the exam
(Nosotros estudiamos para el examen)

They talk a lot

I don't read the newspaper
(Yo no leo el periódico)

You don't eat at night
(Tu no comes en la noche)

We don´t like the horror movies

Do + Pronoun + Verb + Complement + ?

Do you speak English?
(Hablas Inglés?)
Do you collect magazines?
(Coleccionas revistas?)

Do you cook your meal?
Yes, I do
Do you play the guitar?
No, I don't

  • ¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡OOOOOOOOJJJJJJOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! Cuando las preguntas utilizan el pronombre "YOU", al escribir la respuesta el pronombre cambia por "I".
Do you cook your dinner?
Yes, I do
No, I don't

Ejemplo:

He works in the office
(El trabaja en la oficina?

She speaks French very well
(Ella habla frances muy bien)

It jumps very high

I do my homework        but         She does her homework

I go to school                but         She goes to school

I pass my tests with As    but      He passes his tests with As

You push the button       but       She pushes the button

We watch tv               but         It watches tv

They  fix the car            but         He fixes the car

Ejemplo:
Do you teach english?
 Yes, I do
No, I don't

Does he teach english?
Yes, he does
No, he doesn't

Does she cook chinese food?
Yes, she does
No, she doesn't

Does it run fast?
Yes, it does
No, it doesn't
